first of all how old r u ?...if yer under 18 theres not much u can do til u r...if your over 18 ...they will get over it. my mom loves all of my stuff...my dad hates it...but he didnt disown me or anything....parents need to realize that we are a new generation...this is our thing...but yahno what...most dont see it that way until we are over 18 and take our own matters into our own adult hands and they see that we arent their babies anymore and can make our own adult decisions.

because if it turns out to get worse, you have to tell your parents, because then a medical treatment can not be avoided, and then things will get very baaad! Trust me: Save your money, wait a year or two, show your parents you are responsible, maybe they will give in. If not, you can still find other ways to go. It really is worth the money to go to a place that is experienced and clean.

Sometimes I think, parents don't want to be responsible for "damaging" their children. There are so many things that can go wrong with piercings, imagine if there's something going wrong, and your parents agreed beforehand! They will feel guilty for the rest of their lives to have agreed on that shit!

I Always wanted my nose done, when I was 14, I wasn't allowed, and here in germany they are very strict about not getting poeple under age piercings, if there is no parent note. (getting pierced is legal for 16 year olds) So I waited two years, got a piercing done, and my mom actually liked it. Maybe she could enjoy it, because she would not have been responsible for it. Trust me, your parent's only concern is your health and to protect you, and they are just doing their jobs! Try to see it from their points of view! Have you ever tried to talk about the issue in a responsible way? Get informed, and present them your knowledge. Showing responsibility and maturity will open you doors........

no its not stupid....it is a form of ones own expresssions .....doing it yourself is easy...order a needle from a tattoo magazine and just go for it...theres not real nerves in the navel...its like piercing an ear...its easy.
