If you'll notice all the data I've posted so far includes both land and ocean temps. I suppose urban heating affects the oceans according to the logic of the linked article? No that goes against its hypothesis.

One thing the article DOES PROVE however is that urban heating is definitely MAN MADE, and it's easy then to extrapolate that man is causing world wide global warming due to burning of fossil fuels.

Who has the most weather and earth monitoring satellites in the world? Get a clue. I'm sure you brits don't have a lot of satellites monitoring the world do you?

I'm not disputing that the world maybe be heating up slightly, I'm saying it's normal and neither anything to be particularly alarmed about, nor anything we can do to change. It's just the natural cycles of the earth. Until some scientists how me some evidence that proves the AGWH then I am putting it down to another one of the worlds modern doomsday/fear mongering exercises.

Where do you find this crap, midgard? This doesn't even match up with the facts I posted from NOAA. It's still above 58 degrees, it hasn't gone down in the past 6 years as this graph shows. Will you please use SCIENTIFIC SOURCES. Not bullshit.

Plus the volcanic eruptions should be COOLING the earth, like Krakatoa did, but they're not are they?

Yes, there are "natural cycles", but we are in an UNNATURAL CYCLE now due to man's unrelenting pollution of the earth.

The very sharp INCREASE in temps is unprecedented. It usually takes like 500 years for the earth to heat up, not 100.

And they predict 2019 is going to be colder, just so they could continue the LIE that it's getting colder, when in fact, it is still getting hotter.

Says it's produced by a climatologist and a meteorologist, are they not scientific enough?

If their theories supported the AGWH would they be proper scientists then?

I know nothing of the source, so I don't know who these guys are. I just think people and scientists in support of the AGWH are cherry picking the data they want because it supports their predetermined hypothesis. They want to believe that man is affecting the climate, and indeed he may be. I just don't see ANY overwhelming evidence to suggest our impact on the climate is anything significant.

I don't believe we can tell EITHER WAY so when scientists and people try to tell me otherwise, and constantly put down any theories that anyone else has, I find it hard to take them seriously.

Exactly, YOU KNOW NOTHING OF THE SOURCE. So why are you posting up bullshit?

Don't you realize that they've BEEN PAID by the OIL AND COAL INDUSTRIES to produce this nonsense. Is everyone in Germany this naive?

Don't you know that the tobacco companies PAID SCIENTISTS to lie about the carcinogenic effects of tobacco FOR DECADES?

This is the MOST authoritative source for this kind of info.

SHOW ME WHERE IT'S GOTTEN COOLER SINCE 2005!

First up, I didn't post this graph. Secondly, they are ALL paid to produce results, including the climate scientists whose theories support the AGWH.

Climatology is a very inexact science and it relies upon masses of data that is very difficult to correlate. This means there are huge margins of error. So tell me why they are all so CERTAIN of the AGWH?

That's the thing though, not all scientist are. To suggest there is an overwhelming consensus among scientists on climate change is a myth.

Fine. That may be correct. Big deal though, that's what happens.

Do you think the oil industry really needs to spread misinformation to sell it's product?

lmao. Are you really that naive, or just misinformed. Do I really need to waste my time answering this question?

Well for one thing, in order for people to think it's just fine to remain DEPENDENT on fossil fuels for our energy needs, they have to make people think it isn't damaging our planet to have every human being dependent on oil and coal every fucking day. This is the BIG LIE that all these global warming deniers are being paid to perpetuate.

If you add up all the damage from pollution caused by the oil and coal industries around the world, you'll find the disaster at Fukushima to be of minute importance. And that damage is NOW IRREVERSIBLE. Do you know what that means?

    Are you?

Does your average car owner stop to consider global warming every time they fill up their tank?

Probably do, but I'm sure they all think they are making a difference by buying a brand new fuel efficient car every year.

Nonetheless they still fill up their tank, because global warming isn't their problem. They need a car to get to work and to drive their kids to school.

The truth is... Global warming is everyone's problem now.

BTW, enjoy your storm, and be prepared for more, even worse coming your way.

Well that's another thing about CLIMATE CHANGE. It means weather will be more extreme. It can bring about colder, wetter winters. So that too brings down the average temp for the year. It's global warming in the summers, but winters are different too, and not necessarily WARMER.

I think the FACT that this summer was the second warmest on record (missing the record by 0.1 degree), speaks for itself.

You people can deny the FACTS if you want, but you just look like an idiot.

rising global temps can also precipitate conditions for another ice age.

All a person has to do is go look at the size of the glaciers worldwide and compare them to what they were 100 years ago, 50 years ago between that time they were pretty much unchanged. Even 15 years ago they were still mostly the same size. But within the last 10 years they have all drastically reduced in size. That sure seems to me to mean that the world is getting warmer. It might well be a natural cycle but it is being sped up by burning fossil fuels. And yes melting icecaps will change the oceans currents and a ice age of some kind might very possibly be the result.:freezing:
