Well, it’s officially the season in the Southern US where it’s harder to go barefoot. Mid day concrete temperatures have started to get up there, and Saturday, I made the choice for the first time this year to put on shoes rather than sear my flesh. I can stand it, sure, but if it stops being fun, then there’s no reason not to wear a shoe. Mornings and evenings are wonderful though. I’m enjoying my morning shoeless coffee shop stop right now.
Agreed. I went out to wash the car earlier, and while I was barefoot for a little while, the sun is getting to be an asshole on concrete. It didn't take long before I was back in sandals.
It hot here in Utah but not hot enough to put shoes on. I have had people ask me how i do it and not burning the crap out of my bare feet. It takes time for your bare feet to get use to it but i have been going barefoot for over 25years. It's been in the 90's degrees and i know the cement is hoter then that and the black top is even hoter but my bare feet can handle that for a few hour's then i walk on grass to cool down my bare feet. Everybody keep barefooting
