Meh watch it and you'll see, it is actually quite humerous at points. It is meant more to gross people out, and get some chuckles in deranged ways. Also I guess you can say there is some suspense but as far as scary, no I don't think that is the point really it never gave you the feeling like it was tyring to be scary...and if it was then it fell terribly short in.
It's a big, dramatic, borderline-psychological thriller with tons of sex, drugs, and bloodshed. Needless to say, I liked it. Not enough torture, though.
i thought this movie could have been alot more creative. Dont waste your time with this movie..........
I thought it was pretty good, especially the last 25 minutes. Kind of like American Pie mixed with Euro Trip that takes a hard left turn, fucking crazy man! But on the entertainment level, Cabin Fever was better paced. I watched Hostel wondering to myself, when is this shit supposed to go down?
i hated this movie! i was drunk as fuck so i wasnt traumatised like some of my friends that where sober it's just a free violence movie, i found the story real bad
the movie sucked, incredibly. i mean it was just horrible, it was not horror or anything. brutal? NO! the movie fucking pussied out and barely showed us anything. if anything the movies a comedy, i mean i laughed the entire movie, when the chick jumped infront of the train, HILARIOUS, or the eye puss? funny as hell. but the movie was ridiculous, it didnt deliver on what it promised, with cabin fever eli roth showed us that he knows his horror movies, and how to give horror fans what they want, after all cabin fever was one long homage. with this movie, roth showed us that without 'paying tribute' to another movie, he cant do shit. though the scene where the guy did talk about ways of torturing the person was a great, memorable scene. obviously tarantinos biggest contribution to the movie.
