Ok so you brought up another point. I don't think you should live with that person either until you're married. So that could be where marriage could be more understandable for you.

haha I don't agree with that.... If you've been together for a long time, and show no signs of breaking up, then I don't see a problem with it... kinda like roomates :p

But you don't have feelings for a roomate or not to mention sex...and isn't there such a thing as common law marriage, that after a couple live together for longer than seven years they would be considered married anyway....

Think of it as "roomates with benefits"... or something :p
I've never heard of this common law marriage, but seven years sure is a long time..... haha I bet I seem quite impossible to you dont it?

Nope not at all...hahaha, but it is funny how we took this thread way off topic... But wouldn't it be better to just have a wife? Then you would get those benefits and have love...

But then.... haha this thread's title is homosexuality.... anyways... I don't know, Ive been in that position before, "in love", and thinking back to it, the thought of staying with just one lady for the rest of my life is just really scary....

See but that's a normal feeling. That would all go away after awhile. Just think of it this way you wouldn't have to worry about the HIV.

...but then that would be another reason you should stay married...Heck I don't know what love is cause I've never personally experienced it. So anything I say about love is just my interpetation. Or from what I studied.

I thought I was in love, but I was just a confused little boy, taken over by the temptations of sex and drugs... *sigh* :D

Who knows what I'm gonna do, I can't predict the future...

Ahhh see if you would have waited to have sex, it would have been different. And well you can probably guess I haven't done any drugs. I think you're going to think totally different about sex in the future...LOL

I have a question about this...one of my freinds alwys says that being gay is bad according to the bible (which i am not refuting), he than also says that the old testament is old and does not apply today (except the commandments, which i do not beleive, it is all relevent)...My question is that, does Jesus, anywhere in the gospels say that being gay is wrong and against God?, cause i know in Paul's letter's it says so, but i don't have the most faith in what Paul wrote...

I dont know how much I trust anything that is written in the bible, as its been many years since Jesus spread his message and its passed through alot of hands that have all left their mark for better or worse. But when asked about the most important commandment, jesus said to "Love one another as I have loved you" Jesus did not discriminate, he didn't hate sinners. His most important commandment, more important than anything in the old testament, more important than Paul, more important than anyone today. As long as you love others then God will love you, regardless of who or how you love them.

we should defenitely love others, but we should love God with all our heart, and others. And loving God does mean walking in His footsteps.

I totally agree with Mr. Migu! Think about it dear :)
I don't think subjects are this hard when you think for yourself.
Fortunatelly I do think for myself and I don't see nothing wrong in homosexuality. Love is for everyone and it doesn't matter if you are gay or straight.

Didn't the J man say something about not judging others?

I think you just use the Bible when the subject makes you feel icky.

    Fools.

that Jesus said 'do not judge' means that a christian cannot speak out against homosexuality? If it would mean that, then Jesus wouldn't have kicked over the tables in the temple, spoke out against the hypocracy of the religious leaders, etc etc etc.

Are you familiar with what 'judging' is? Speaking out against homosexuals in not an abstract subcategory of the furtherment your faith, it is judging.

You are saying that Jesus himself was a hypocrit. He kicks over tables in this temple and then later on says not to judge others.
