If i said 'all gay people are aliens from another planet' and really believed it then you'd just laugh... so why should what he thinks be any different.

It would be discrimination to WRONGLY acuse someone of being sick because they were gay... BUT thats the whole point of freedom of speech.. other people believe different things and can voice their opinions and he doesn't believe he is WRONGLY acusing anyone... he believes he's right just as you believe your right.. thats freedom of speech for you.. hes not angry at you for attacking his beliefs so why be angry with him attacking yous.

In my opinion, nothing involving two consenting adults that does not bother anyone else is wrong.

Also, you keep saying chemical imbalance. Implying that homosexuals are somehow defective or uncomfortable in being gay. Why would they want to correct this "imbalance" anyway? Being gay is just part of who they are.. most gays don't have a problem with it. Some are in love, some have families.. and believe me.. they do enjoy sex.

You're putting up this front like the whole world is straight, and scientists have proved time and time again that that assumption is simply not true.

Almost everyone is considered to be somewhat bisexual, and then there are the extremes of hetero and homosexuality.

Homosexuality is not like depression or schizophrenia at all. Why? Because most gays would tell you that while it can be an inconvenience at times, being gay isn't what hurts. It's people like you that make it hurt.

i don't think that anyone was "meant" to be anything, because that would imply that there was a higher power involved who had plans for us, which i don't believe is the case. still, i do believe in evolution, and the evolutionary purpose of sex is reproduction, not enjoyment. thus, i have to conclude that something isn't right with homosexuality. i wouldn't go so far as to say that it's wrong, but it certainly is a deviation from what is natural

Homosexuality is not right, in the sense that it defies the laws of nature. From day one, wether it be God's creation or a random appearance of life, we've had the goal to reproduce. We have reproductive organs for natural purposes, and therefore, being gay is wrong. It's like being born with 6 fingers, it's not supposed to be. That's how I prefer to view this, instead of getting in morals and judgemental views saying that homosexuality is totally alright just to give myself a sense of respect. I don't like flattering my ego, but at the end of the day, it doesn't make me have anything against homosexuals, just like I don't have anything against anyone that lives out of a normal biological lifestyle.

But you know, what really separates the perceptions on this subject is wether you're an atheist or a deist. And I'm not an atheist, nor am I religious. Existence may be absurd but we can't deny some of its main principles like reproduction.
