i figure pretty much what nesta said earlier is how i feel.
if they are cool and genuinely a good person then they are fine in my book

although the flamboyantly gay guys kinda piss me off at times
and the lesbians that my roommate hangs out w/ kinda freak me out

 

homesexuality is a disease, saying there is no right way to be is like saying that schizophrenics are okay because they are just different and there is no right way to precieve reality. some people are depressed which is caused by a chemical imbalance, this is the same for homesexuality, humans were not meat to have sex with the same gender, what other animals do you see that do this? just a genetic mutation and i dont really care if they choose to live their lives as homosexuals but i find it to be immoral

 

I'm very much against gays defining themselves as gays.

For example, I know lesbians that only hang out with other lesbians or make friends with people because they are lesbians.
I'm not about that.

I love pride, but many gays/lesbian are just following self-fulfilling prophecies , making stereotypes true and hatred/ignorance more common.
I agree with everyone to just be yourself.
I'm gay, but that is not what defines me.

I think being gay is natural as long as you don't fabricate your homosexuality by falling into pre-destined stereotypes.

If you are saying homosexuality is a chemical imbalance and your also saying it's genetic, be it a mutation, how can this be immoral is you are born with this faults? God creates blind people, schizophrenics and gays: are they all destined for hell?

You're right. Society has grown very tolerant of homosexuality, but some gay people take it to such an extreme that it actually hurts the LGBT movement. People learn to associate homosexuals with flamboyant, and well... annoying behaviour, and that's just no good.

This is why I somewhat dislike some of the gay pride activities and how homosexual are portrayed on TV... it does alot to encourage a very unnecessary stereotype... and gives idiots a further excuse to hate homosexuals.

At the same time, I like how homosexuality gives people the freedom to be eccentric within social norms. Many people are afraid of showing their true crazy nature, and homosexual culture is a great let out for it. People can learn alot from it.

Schizophrenics are just at the extreme end of a scale. Schizophrenic people need help and medication so that life is easier for them.. but they are not any less normal than someone without schizophrenia.. we are all just born with slightly different inbalances.. some with majorly different inbalances (people who suffer from schiz etc). If everyone had schizophrenia would you be saying everyone without it was unnatural?

Als humans were not meant for anything. We are not created we just are.. and whatever we do with our sexual organs has no relation to what is or isn't meant to be.

 

i could care less if someone was gay, but the over-the-top flamboyancy of some gays is just so fucking annoying. its ok to be gay, just dont annoy people and give them a reason to not like you.

 

oh please, the only reason for sex is reproduction of the species. also, if someone is depressed do they not have a problem? if someone has a chemical imbalance which causes them to be homosexual that is just another disease. if someone gave me chemicals to make me homosexual i am sure it could be done some way, so why wouldnt homosexuals want to correct their imbalance? they would enjoy sex and be attracted to the opposite gender and actually be fulfilling their biological purpose.

 

There is a huge difference between biology and morality. And genetics, chemical inbalance and diseases.
If reproducing is the morally and only thing sex is for, are infertile folks less than everyone else? Or how about ladies with ovarian cancer?

 

thats funny, your statement is contradictory, if you believe it is caused by chemicals than God had nothing to do with it, if you think God just set them down and made them that way then okay,also i do not believe in organized religion. it is immoral because if you were "designed" to procreate and you know you have a chemical imbalance which causes you to not toand you choose to have sex with the same gender simply for pleasure then i believe thats immoral

I'm mad because what you're saying is discrimination. I don't think it's right, whether it's your opinion or not. I was too tired too argue, since I've already been arguing over the same topic in another thread.
