homeless people are people too

Well that was my impression as well-- I had proffered a couple more conciliatory posts that landed on deaf ears (or maybe blind eyes)- ostensibly in favor of trading jabs with cooloner and quality. There were a few others that kinda established a love fest with her and started taking sides against those of us who were calling her bluff. She did in fact succeed in altering- if temporarily- the group dynamic that had existed prior to her emergence.

However I'm still willing to give her the benefit of the doubt in all this if she would do me the courtesy of lending her 2 years experience in the issue and educate with respect to my twice quoted post. After all- it isn't just about her is it? If she continues to not respond it will speak volumes about her agenda- though I reiterate that I await, apology ready if my suspicions prove to be unfounded.

 

That the picture isn't what is universally considered model material tends to lean me toward thinking it to be genuine. That a self pic would pop up in the sig of someone presumanly seasoned beyond her years by circumstances most people in the U.S. are lucky enough to escape only adds to my nagging suspicions... somehow it just doesn't fit.

 

Best part about dating a homeless girl is you can drop her off anywhere and she's home.

Samhaim... while I stand ready to be corrected and will gladly offer any apologies if they are appropriate, I feel that anything that anonymousgurl21 posts ought to be taken with a grain of salt.

Whatever your preferences, you seem a most genuinely kind person and I'd hate to see some of the truly good souls here taken in.

 

thankyou and i rarley get taken in by many people, at the moment i'll take her at face value that she is infact homeless, is she is a flake, well the worlds not going to end ethier- I'm more worried about Hacker liking catherine zeta to be honest- come on man

Normally I wouldn't make it an issue but it has brought out a divisiveness- more than a few people that I've gained some measure respect for appear to have been drawn into her clique. No the world isn't going to end but I'd hate to think what could be a very cleverly engineered troll alter the way some of the more longtime members here interact.

 

well it won't effect me, i don't do cliques, i do a few friends amd none of them have reacted in a way i would call bad in this thread, however if they had, i would just agree to differ with them on this subject and go on with the friendship. also it takes a long time for me to class someone as a friend- does that answer your question, at least in regards to me?

That answers it quite nicely... my continued message to anonymousgurl21 is that I am looking for some constructive dialogue on the topic that she initiated. I would prefer not to harbor suspicions and sincerely hope she can and will dispel them. In the meantime my caution flag flies high.

 

she could have easily have missed one post, if however she doesn't reply when she's next on and doesn't give a good reason for not doing- then you could be right.

I don't particularly relish the prospect of being right in this case.

 

theres two other things i will add today, firstly her pic felt very right to me, her body struck me as someone sho's been on the streets and hasn't been having a lot to eat.
my other thought is, how has this thread not been closed yet?

There's alot of non sequitor from her participation here. I haven't entirely closed the door to the possibility that a longtimer has erected a new personna to see how us sharks feed. Does anynody recall Kimberley?

 

group dynamics change all the time. people are always looking for a way to seperate themselves from each other and bond with someone with whom they hadn't previously agreed. it's like finding a whole new territory for yourself and convincing yourself you aren't so easily led by your "friends" and therefore truly an individual. no one is truly an individual, unless they're totally insane. even then, while they're seperated from any particular group, there's still at least a thousand people out there just like them.

i'm all for the cathartic insult fest. i claim this because she waded in and slew 'em. it was great. as for the picture, well, gay or not, healthy and happy (did i mention the picture seemed joyful?) is beautiful to people no matter what their sexual orientation or intentions.

anyway, i'm awesome. been reading some of your stuff over in the philosophy and religion page. have i ever mentioned how much your brain turns me on?
