I moved to another country when I was 19, and now "home" is over 1800 kilometers away. I say "home" because my real home is here now. Sure, I miss my family and friends but I still get to talk with them and see them a few times a year. And now I have new friends and a new family as well. If moving is the right thing for you, homesickness won't be an issue for long.
not very helpful. everyone wants you not to go apparantly. usually there full of advice muddy.sorry i just got here.
What Do you mean by Decide? I am Not Deciding Anything... I made my Decison months Ago... And I'm Sticking with it...
It sucked when I had to work in Florida last winter but I didn't have a choice, I just had to suck it up and go on. Working and drinking most of the time also helped it go by quicker.
I just moved 2500 miles away from where I've lived nearly my entire life. It's not easy, but I knew it would be good for me. I really miss my friends and family back home, I'm not going to lie. But I got some really good advice from someone, who is now a good friend, "Annie, if you do things right, family is right where you are." It's true...the people I now surround myself with have become so close in such a short amount of time...they are now my family...and I'd do pretty much anything for them...and they for me. It might not be the family and friends you are familiar with, but they are friends and family just the same. *shrugs* Just food for thought.
