Yeah well I found out today that african tribes from really long ago stole my idea. but they use leather straps on the outside instead of springs on the inside... and it's alreay got a name...

so , make your own, reverse engineer the one you see, takt it a step further, what can you do to alter the sound? what can you do to vary the sound? mod it...

 

Try a Whamola. It's a one string bass that you smack with a drum stick. You change the pitch by pulling on a lever.
