Please please please, dont listen to, well any of them, go off, make sure you do well in college, get a career, get some independance that way.

This stuff about worrying about reputation is the way people think things should be, not the way things really are.

Divorce cases run differently to custody cases and often seperate. In either case what you said about "it can look bad" wont make a difference in real life. All the lawyer has to do is paint a picture that the wife was looking for a guy thats going to be around more in the case of a custody battle, or more attentive in a divorce case.
That is those such things are determined by who has the better lawyer, which judge they get, what is more secure for the kids, how long they've been together.......not by how snotty and judgemental all the on lookers might get

 

Or her husband happening across hipforums and putting 2 and 2 together...
