Wow, Trish, that's awful. I can't even begin to imagine how traumatic it would be to witness something like that. Just remember hon, "this too shall pass" as they say.....someday it will be a distant memory. As for now, try your best to keep calm (hell, I'd send ya a Xanax through this thing if I could ). My god that is horrible, I have had a couple of experiences myself, once in highschool I was at lunch period sitting outside and suddenly across from me there was someone chasing another person and shooting at him. Then when I was in college I was awakened in the middle of the night, window was open, by a loud gunshot. All happening right across the street, woke my roomate up too. We were scared to death and did not want to turn on a light but of course we called the cops and they were there within five minutes. In the meantime the guy with the gun was being attacked by two women. When the cops got there they slammed his ass onto the pavement and arrested him. I don't think anyone actually got shot but it was still very scary.
