Heh, Chavez actually gave his thoughts and was nice about it... was willing to cooperate. The U.S. gov't has too much shit on their faces to do something like that right now, anyway... and if they ever do, I figure they'll need a little time to wipe it off, obviously.
chavez is giving us cheap oil, how nice of him, we can't actually get the cheap oil so it's a completly empty gesture (like the emancipation procomation) but, hey, it's how it looks for the historians and the cameras that counts, isn't it?

i heard something on the news..they said something like george bush said that if other countries OFFER us help, we're not gunna refuse, but that we're gunna get through this by ourselves...and that saudi arabia already said something about they were gunna increase oil production or something..i don't really remember.
I know... the US is so suspicious of everything nowadays. I just wish US leaders weren't so on their toes about it. The thing is, if they do take it and any of those countries ever were in a fucked situation and demanded for help... I mean, this has happened before, but not to this scale. If they don't do something quick and get congress together or something, it's just going to get worse, obviously.
