    This is true, but Hitler was clearly very far away from any ambiguously defined "grey area" of poorly realized Hippie idealism.

    Calling Hitler a Hippie is as absurd as calling Martin Luther King a Klansman.

    Just because it's good for a laugh doesn't mean it's not bullshit, and vice versa, of course.

    welll MLK did hold racial rallies... and the klu klux klan held racial rallies... got me sold... MLK was just like a klansman

    you can respond "no he wasn't". Hitler was a fascist, not at hippie. I mean, come on, that's like the exact opposite of a hippie. Who cares if he was a vegetarian? So was my great grandma, but she wasn't a hippie at all.

    Hitler's ideal world was not one of "war, hatred, propaganda, death and destruction". the only reason why he did all that was to create a "race" of superior beings. he did want a world of "peace, love, truth, consciousness and creativity", but he only wanted aryans in that world.
    so yea, he was a nutcase. i know a great deal of hippies who are mental too.
    thats probably why the assumption that Hitler was a hippe was made in the first place, lol.

    p.s. dont flame me, im not pro-Hitler.
