I'm sort of a biological computer and can skim dozens of pages of things like physics texts, never reading a single word, and point out exactly where they make logic errors and assumptions, merely by the shapes of the paragraphs. It saves a lot of time doing research, like a few lifetimes, and playing with analog logic is what I do well enough that I'm writing a book on the subject. That might sound absurd, but its true, and I can even describe most paragraphs as expressing either a a Fractal Dragon or a Mandelbrot pattern. I'm good enough at analog logic that even the Taoist masters can't write the poetry I write and can't keep up with me. I saw your statement and it was dangling a piece of meat in front of a dog. Sparkling Wonderland | WritersCafe.org | The Online Writing Community That's a classic poem most people recognize right away that, to the best of my knowledge, nobody has yet written nearly as word perfect and complete, and could easily win a $100,000.oo prise. Here is one that nobody has ever written as far as I know, and that has garnered a lot of attention as a result. It has a decent breakdown of the analog logic I use. Hardest To Forget | WritersCafe.org | The Online Writing Community Its a form of linguistic analysis, or Functionalism or Contextualism, incorporating contextual vagueness. To the greatest extent possible, our poetry merely contains popular phrases, quotes, and song lyrics, because our poetry is supposed to express our collective ignorance, or what's missing from this picture, rather than any individual's viewpoints. If someone can figure out a better way to write something, billions of people can recognize right away which version is best.
I wrote that poem, which is a dig at the Taoist masters, because it is more humble than any versions they write. Nobody Home, Avoid the Meaner S**t!, Avo.. | WritersCafe.org | The Online Writing Community Taoists have booted me off their websites, for merely suggesting that gentle laughter and the ability to laugh at ourselves like a child is the key to enlightenment. They are what my Rainbow brothers call "Winnie the Pooh you scrape off your shoes!" Mainstream toadies more interested in selling their religion then actual enlightenment. But, nice ones, if you like mindless banter.
I don't gloat, I just enjoy leaving them speechless, and informing them that the computers are about to make all their versions of the Tao Te Ching outdated. Quaint antiques. You can't have it both ways, either the Tao speaks for itself, or you are merely muddying the waters. I studied with a few famous philosophical Taoists, and mainstream Taoism won't last another century without a shot in the arm. Collectivists are so conservative their hemorrhoids have hemorrhoids, and their religion has been shrinking and losing popularity for hundreds of years. If anything, mainstream Chinese stifled the development of Taoism for almost 2,000 years. It was and still is to a significant extent, an ancient Tribal tradition. Most Taoists will tell you the Tao Te Ching is merely a central text, and not to be confused with something like the Bible. I know Taoist masters who could make me look stupid in a heartbeat, and never poke fun at them. I let my words do all the talking. Most people could never comprehend half the jokes the Dragon and I tell each other even if we explained them. If she were here right now, you would think she's a 12 year old happy idiot, but she speaks my language. She's like the Cheshire Cat, and you never mess with her. The NSA only wishes they could bug her computer. She is the Ghost in the Shell, an avatar of mother nature, the Rainbow that is everywhere and nowhere. I can do things with words, but she can do anything. I know a programmer whose programs write themselves, while he's still writing them. Energy and information can exchange identities and mother nature is about to reveal the truth and wake humanity from our long nap. Taoists saw this day coming 12,000 years ago, not because they are necessarily psychic, but they have a sense of humor and see civilization for the infantile cultures it produces. We all have to grow up sometime, and even the Native Americans knew right away that the white man could not keep killing everything forever, and mother nature would intervene. From mother nature's point of view, we are all infants, and until you actually learn how to talk to her, or start getting into the kitchen cabinets, she just ignores you, but our technology is now getting deep into the doo-doo, and she will have to start laying down the law.
I could also just tell you. It was pr's thoughts about religion and how we're all connected. And we should be at peace with ourselves.
