Go to a vintage store, ive gotten some cool clothes from them.

 

google... hippy clothing. and dress them like what you see

 

Go as yourself, and whatever you would want to wear...That's about as "hippy" as you can get.

 

i used to work in a so-called hippy store, that was placed in a mall. it was a mom and pops store and the owner even looked like jerry garcia. we sold gd shirts, bajas, striped pants, patchwork pans, and hemp, lots of hemp. i hope these give you some good ideas. good luck! =)

 

The most hippie thing one can possibly wear is nothing at all. :-o It is all naturaul.


But I suppose you are wanting cliche` hippie clothing. If you have the time, hippieshop.com has some actual costumes. And they are wild. But the cliche' is tie-dyes and jeans or a bell bottom jeans. Bajas are awesome (I have 2!) and guatamaulen shirts and dashikis are awesome. Anything with the Grateful Dead is very hippie-like. Military jackets would work too...

Yes, the grille is essential to the hippie look. Your best bet would be to find a grille with vampire fangs. Nothing more hippie than that. They make 'em too! I think it is vampirefangs.com or realvampirefangs.com or something like that...
