Hippies rock....but do they ALL smoke pot?

Seriously though, you don't need to use weed, but I believe you do have to be pro-legalisation. Part of the hippy ideology is about free choice. As long as it does not infringe on the rights of anyone else, people should be free to do whatever they wish.

 

Funny you should put it that way. Every night around 2200 I start getting sleepy. And if I'm dum enuf to smoke sum goo all I get for my effort is zzzzzzzzzz land a whole lot quicker.

If I'm gonna party my ass off I gotta start in the afternoon otherwise like I said I'm on the road to Unconsiousnessville by 10PM.

This week no one would ever guess I'm a hippie. Least ways not since I got my summer haircut a month early. A lil bit shorter and I would be sporting one of those High and Tight Army or Marine haircuts. Well at least I got my moneys worth.:biker:

No, of course a hippie doesn't have to smoke pot. You're a hippie if hippie-dom genuinely resonates with you. Obviously it does, so quit worrying.

I would say that most hippies smoke pot, but I also know a girl who LOOKS like a hippie and EATS like a hippie and PREACHES like a hippie (hehe) but doesn't touch drugs. She's not against them, but she knows they aren't right for her and I really respect her for that. Her boyfriend used to smoke, but doesn't anymore, and wears tie-dye almost every day. Plenty of hippie-types don't smoke weed.

If somebody doesn't respect your lifestyle choices, tell 'em to fuck themselves.

 

I consider myself a hippie. I live the life. I do not smoke pot. Never not even once! Still consider myself a hippie. Have been accused of being high all through high school and college, but never did. Just not for me. I decline politely when we are in a circle and someone passes it to me. Funny, the people I hang around with after 15 years still ask, I still decline, but it is nice enough to be asked. Doesn't change what or who I am nor does it define me.
