i think we should focus most of our attention on the nonhippies who are processing the transubstanciation into hippieness

Maybe I spent so much time talking to my kids, grandchildren, elementary school kids when I used to be a substitute teacher or the alzheimers patients at nursing homes where I worked recently (or maybe I really am just a stupid fucker, dumb gayass as trippyhippychicky says...which my last IQ would disagree to)

What is a hippy anyway? I mean, who defines who is and isn't a hippy? The establishment man... and if you say someone isn't a hippy, you aren't one either, cuz you're the establishment mannnnn....

Labels are tools that can be used so as to be accurate or inaccurate; much of it depends on context; sometimes it is better to not speak to something, better not to label something. To communicate we use labels.

The Label, the word, Hippie used correctly, accurately, describes many different types of people; long hair, short hair, ganja, no ganja, beige, brown, man, woman, etc, etc, etc. And some hijack the term, this happens with all coveted labels.

The Hippie is avant lifestyle and this is ever evolving even for the static ones, because living personal truth is at the root of the Hippie. That is what we are doing here in this thread in this forum, Hippies.

Many nonhippies can love but they can't do it on drugs. That's why hippies are special.
