Hippie vs Hippy

Isn't this site called hippy land?

 

why shood it matter, its all the same in the end, it sounds the same not matter how u spell it. it's just letters

Great rule!! More people should live by that rule. Stay happy hippies. Every little hippy boy and girl..... Actually I don't care. I usually say one hippie, but hippy-happy is a good rule...

I spell it "hippie."

But I don't mind other people using a Y in place of the I and E.

Same definition, right?

Besides, Hippy becomes Hippies when plural, unless you'd prefer to pull a Jimi and add an S like he did with the Band of Gypsys[Gypsies].

They're just words, man. Words make sentences, sentences make paragraphs, paragraphs making speeches, and speeches change things.

 

Yeah, Happy-Hippy= better I think. Hippies for plural.

 

spelling it with a 'y' is FUCKING annoying... but that's just me.

I can live with it for now.

 

I prefer hippie, but I won't spaz out on you for spelling it the other way. I'm a grammar Nazi and a self-professed walking dictionary--I twitch anytime someone spells a word wrong, but I won't get on your ass for it. There's more important things in life to worry about.
