Do you need to do drugs to be a hippy??? Damn. What a wierd question! That's sort of looking at it backwards. Fact is, if you ARE a hippy, chances are you are not buying into the propaganda of the "authorities", and you are willing to go "outside the box", and you are not nearly as fearful as a lot of other folks are, and you may be more intelligent than some, and you might be interested in exploring those places in your mind that are a mystery... You might like the idea of expanding your consciousness. OR you might not.
