Ok, meh old bluudy, I will try 2 enlighten you old fortz, I mean US old fortz.

 

I'm wicked mean and totally violent, we'd attract each other Molly, how about it????? wanna get close and stuck like a couple of magnets?

 

We were/are what we always were.. we just grew, as is the way it was meant to be. We still are growing into what will be our final destination. We will understand our nature and why we came and why we must return. Untill we get there we wont know.. we can only hope we are on the right course in our lifes plan.

We were the messengers, spreading the message. Everybody heard.. not everyone listened. We grew out of our youth as people do and contenued to grow into our maturity. We had offspring and needed to nest, to build a secure home for our nestlings and teaching them old/new ways to live.

Our hair long and shaggie our sandaled feet dusty from the road. Our beads of love strung around out necks and bandanas tied to our heads. We had not come to lead, but to follow our calling, the voice inside that told us to come.

A giant wave that came crashing down around us, swooping us up in it's current. It took us far and wide in it's graps, we were helpless to fight against it's strength. We surrenderd to is embrace and we rode the wave high and sure, against all odds we landed saftly to tell the tale.

We learned and we grew from the experience.. we peaked, as we peeked into the otherside. It changed our minds. We saw too much to be able to cope with the injustice of what was taking place in the 60s.. We went to the country to find peace. Some stayed to keep the fire lit.

The dream was to live off the land, get back to the garden.. that's what a lot of us did, are doing. We did not fail.. we spread the message and went back to the land.

Retread is what ya do when ya run the wheels off.. we surely did..As old and rusty as the bus may be we still putter around doing. This is just how I see/remember things.. others may see it differently.

I believe most of us still have our hairz.. our moxi.. if that's what you mean by hair One.

rak.. I just wanted to say.. us old hippies are mostly retired/disable and spend a lot of time on the net connecting to likeminded people. I have found many old and dear friends that were seperated from me.. It completes a circle of sorts to reconnect. It gives us strenght and we have made a lot of new freinds in the doing of it... you think we should sit in front of the tv all day. Once the chores are done, thay are done. What would you have us do that you arent doing yourself.
Some of us are snowed in or in the sticks or both. How blessed we are to have the internet that we may be together and converse and share with one another.
