This was my first imagine My name, Júlia, haven´t got any meaning in our language. But it comes from Rome and means Hairy or Young. Other meaning (Hebrew I think) is Heavenly. I also read, that it´s a hip name.
that's a beautiful name! i love your name too i might have to steal it and use it for my kid, if i ever have one. my parents aren't hippies but my name is holly which i actually really like. most people i know hate their names. apparently my parents thought it was 'unique' but pretty soon after that it became really popular - i'm good friends with two other hollys and know at least three more. i love it though for the same reason as dren, it's a great forest name. plus it's wintery and the latin for the holly family is 'ilex' which would be a cool nickname if i could be bothered to instigate it.

what is a level 3 hippie i didnt know that hippies had levels to go through seems kinda of contradictory to say love and peace and just go with the flow but you have to go through certain levels my country went to war and all i got was expensive gasoline!
my parent arent hippies, so i have an old name..Anita.. spanish name for an irish girl...odd. i hated it as a kid, but i love it as i got older. I chose Destinee, Jonas, and Kailen for my kids. My last child (boy) we couldnt agree on anything. When we went to new york for vacation one weekend ,he came to me and said that he found a name that he liked and it was kailen, funny think was i had also found that name, and thought i wouldnt say abything, cause he wouldnt like it...so we thought thats it...Kailen

Id love to do that with my kids one day.. beautiful name as well Ive heard it for girls spelt differently but I love it.. my name... isnt a hippie name but it has lots of meaning behind it, Shannon Adria Jude (two middle names) my parents couldnt think of a first name for me when my mom was pregnant.. they couldnt agree so they named me after the river in ireland (hippie esque backround info lol) which happened to be the river that my great great grandfather fell into and drowned heh adria is the same middle name as my mother.. and jude.. i LOVE haha when my grandmother got married it took her almost 8 years to have kids.. She prayed to St Jude for that entire time and promised that if he let her have children she'd name them after him.. so she ended up having my dad and 4 other kids.. all of them took jude for their confirmation names.. all of my cousins made it their confirmation name as well...but since I dont practice catholicism I've just added it to my name.. which.. is technically unofficial but Ill make it legal once I turn 18... darn it I ramble alot *sparkles*
haha. 3rd level hippie...that's funny. uhm...my name is maple, which is not my "given" name...but i strongly believe it is my real name. I don't understand how people in babylon change everything except their name (most of the time) they change their hair color, eye color, weight, clothes, location, nail color, plastic surgery, they can change everything, but they do not look inside themselves to find the name they are meant to have. look inside you, think about what you represent, who you are trully, not defined by your given name...and find it. if you are having trouble, smoke some herb and let it come to you. It'll come.
i don't have a hippie name either it's kimberly but i like dancing sun. A lot of kids i went to public school had hippie names my bestfriends middlename was ziggy-stardust, and a couple other kids in my class had names like leaf, rain, and storm
I'd probably just grab my celtic name Fair Warrior, but it sounds a bit more neo nazi than hippie, so Fianvar or something along those lines.

my names sam but everyone calls me sandals b/c i wore sandals the whole winter, crazy blizzards and everything. except i wore shoes to school maybe twice and a couple of times to other places but they made me feel really hot so i never wore them unless i had to.
