Hippie Businessman...coming out of the closet

Hi everyone, I was a Hippie in late sixties and a businessman for 40 years...holy shit!

I AM GOING TO HELP HIM WITH HIS INTRODUCTION:

COSMICDUST: I must confess that "Hip Pickle Rick" is an old HIGH SCHOOL friend of mine. We both graduated from the same MICHIGAN HIGH SCHOOL in 1972. I invited him to join these HIP FORUMS and helped him pick out a cool AVATAR name suited to his personalty, which is HIP PICKLE RICK. Some people, he knew, thought that his personality resembled the "RICK" character on the "RICK AND MORTY" CARTOON SERIES. The "RICK" CARTOON CHARACTER is very INTELLIGENT and talks very fast. In one "RICK AND MORTY" CARTOON, RICK turns himself into a pickle and comes to the conclusion that "I should've thought this out, more!". PHRASE: "Talk about being in a pickle!!!" Be nice to "Hip Pickle Hip" as a new member!!! We still communicate by phone.

CLARIFICATIONS:

When Hip Pickle Rick talks about "coming out of the closet", this has nothing to do about sex preferences, being straight or gay. He is definitely STRAIGHT (with a wife, a kid and a dog), but is very respective of a person's life choices, different from his. What "Hip Pickle Rick" means when he is "coming out of the closet" is that he is a current BUSINESSMAN, but had a past of being a HIPPIE and is coming back as a "PARTIAL HIPPIE" (being a CONNOISSEUR of that MAGICAL GREEN HERB, like I am). We both had at least one HEROIC LSD DOSE (which is an EXTREMELY POWERFUL, INSANE LSD DOSE) in the early 60's and early 70's. He dropped 2 hits of "ORANGE BARREL" acid and I dropped 1 hit of 4-WAY WINDOWPANE acid. We are both EXPERTS in PSYCHEDELIC CHEMISTRY and PHARMACEUTICAL DRUGS. His dad was a pharmacist and I thought about becoming a pharmacist and /or a psychiatrist. I settled on MECHANICAL DRAFTING and ARCHITECTURE.

Do you remember that PETER SELLER'S movie: "I Love You, Alice B. Toklas" (1968) where PETER SELLERS plays a conservative lawyer and turns into a HIPPIE from dating his hippie brother's flower-child girlfriend NANCY (Leigh Taylor-Young)??? The Alice B. Toklas Cook Book By Alice B.Toklas was an excellent cookbook, but contained a recipe for "Haschich Fudge" = "Hashish Fudge" (available on the INTERNET). I own the yellow, Picasso Painting paperback version of this cook book. Anyway, "Hip Pickle Rick" is doing the reverse of this movie, of an OLD HIPPIE who becomes a BUSINESSMAN, but is now "coming out of the closet", by at least becoming a PARTIAL HIPPIE, today. It's all about COMPROMISE!!!

As OLD HIPPIES we take drugs to just stay alive, while before we took drugs for enlightenment and / or recreation!!! Instead of dropping ACID, we are now dropping an ANTACID!!! As you age, you develop more aches and pains and POWERFUL PSYCHEDELICS amplify your senses, and thus amplify aches and pains, so many old hippies just use MEDICAL MARIJUANA and pain killers (LEGAL OPIATES). Even KRYSTLE COHL quit MAJOR PSYCHEDELICS, because she has daily aches and pains from 3 AUTO-IMMUNE DISEASES!!!

Who is KRYSTLE COHL??? Her boyfriend was GORDON TODD SKINNER, associated with WILLIAM LEONARD PICKARD (that famous LSD CHEMIST who produced 90% of the LSD supply in the WORLD (80's - 90's) from an UNDERGROUND Atlas-E MISSILE SILO - near WAMEGO, KANSAS). When this Alas-E MISSILE SILO LSD OPERATION was BUSTED, it caused a HUGE LSD "DROUGHT" (WITH 90% OF THE WORLD'S LSD SUPPLY BEING CUT-OFF)!!! When this happened, it resulted with an 800% increase in MDMA (ALIAS: "ECSTACY" - "MOLLY") to fill the vacuum!!! RAVERS TAKE NOTE!!!

When KRYSTLE COHL took PICKARD'S PRODUCT (LSD), she could've said, " I'm not in Kansas, anymore??? I'm off to see the Wizard, the wonderful Wizard of Oz!!!" (NO TORNADO NEEDED???) A new generation of San Franciscans believe the drug makes them more creative.

"I don't do coffee, I do acid," she says. The declaration that she takes a Class A drug does not distract her from nibbling a chunk of salmon in her taco bowl. The 29-year- old start-up founder began microdosing LSD - tiny doses every few days - in January. At just a tenth of a tripping dose, she does not experience psychedelic effects. Rather than swirling in a magical universe with pink elephants, she says microdosing has improved her productivity, creativity and helped her focus. On LSD, she is able to concentrate when developing company strategy, speed through user design sessions and sparkles making new contracts.

Diana is part of a new generation of LSD users who believe that it is a useful and harmless enhancement, like meditation and coffee. They meticulously plan regimes, often taking 10 to 20 micrograms every three days. There is little research on microdosing, so they track how their bodies and minds respond, submitting reports to researchers and discussing effects with almost 18,000 0ther MICRODOSERS ON REDDIT.

"I used LSD from approximately 1972 to 1974. Throughout that period of time I used the LSD approximately ten to fifteen times. I would ingest the LSD on a sugar cube or in a hard form of gelatin. I would usually take the LSD when I was by myself. I have no words to explain the effect the LSD had on me. He said that he had smoked marijuana with friends or eaten it cooked in brownies, but that the last time he had used the drug was in 1977.

I have no idea of the actual dose (in mics) of WINDOWPANE ACID I took in 1974, but it was a POWERFUL 4-WAY DOSE. It definitely was mindblowing powerful and EXTREMELY VISUAL (3-D HALLUCINATIONS) and at "THE PEAK" I WAS TOTALLY IN ANOTHER DIMENSION (5D), but it was also somewhat controllable, to not "FREAKOUT". I felt that I was high on acid, as high I could get, without going unconscious or fading out of the universe. I also MICRODOSED once. TWO EXTREMES OF THE ACID EXPERIENCE!!!

The invention of PERSONAL COMPUTERS (PC'S), VIDEO GAMES, VIRTUAL REALITY EQUIPMENT (ELECTRONIC DRUG TRIPS??) and CELL-PHONES appear to come from ideas and revelations from PSYCHEDELIC DRUGS (THC-Marijuana and LSD, MOSTLY)???!!!

My SISTER'S oldest son works at APPLE CORPORATION, but he doesn't use drugs. Some do, some don't. It's all free choice.

Know the window pane!!!!! 2 four ways one time and I had the greatest time in a tree at the Honolulu zoo imitating animals for the tourists walking below, among other quite interesting experiences.

The most enlightening experience on the pane was sitting alone on my balcony in my old rental house on the big island of Hawaii. Everyone being familiar with the way a colorblind test looks with the dots--that's what happened with everything in view---the sky--the jungle--the house the ocean and me. Everything was buzzing and shifting and brought to me the sense of EVERYTHING being connected. I eventually had to smoke some hash to mellow out. I haven't taken any since the late 70s and the first hit was in '68 at 28 years of age. Ahhhhhhhhhh----a million memories. I too have been a successful business man and certainly an old hippy in disguise! Good stories cosmicdust.

 

Like you, both cosmicdust and I are old men with tons of memories. Let's hope our future memories are as good as our past. I'm still a co-owner of a business, but I'm absentee so plenty of time to be a partial hippy (as my friend indicated). Be well and stay safe.
