Hip forums greatest flame war's!!!

There's been quite a few nuts for sure,but I never got too mad at 'em ,except one catholic kid that was on my ass constantly. He called me an ignorant buffoon!! I said I don't know about ignorant ,but buffoon---OK-you caught me! There's one here now that I stay away from--

 

i remember when i could sit here for 6 straight hours doing nothing but posting on RT, and there was ALWAYS a new post to reply to.

now i can be offline for 2 days and when i come back my last post will still be on the first page.

plus, you used to be able to say the n word.

 

There was one girl who if she were to come back now I would stay away from..........she had at least 3 different names, every time she almost killed herself by her own free will she came back under a new handle. Freaky.

Also someone who I think had terrible PMS....and I don't mean posting mean shit.....although that happened too.

 

Remember the one that had her hubby or someone post up that she had died? And then turned up after all kinds of folks expressed their sorrow over it.She and HHB really went at it. Sam,I think it was.

 

Yes it was. The really sad thing is that she was very ill not long after that and did pass away and people did not know how to react as they had grieved her before.........was a strange time.

 

Was thinking just now that everyone has at one time or another gone off the rails a little but thankfully most don't make a posting career of it.

i do know what you mean though; it's still entertaining here, and threads/posts whining about how it used to be better are generally pretty annoying whether they're true or not.

but whatever, nothing wrong with old timers missing a few people. there were some great characters and i still think of them often. but it truly is a good deal more tame here than it used to be. i don't think it's all that bad a thing, but still, there were some real interesting people no longer here. not that we don't have interesting people now, but there's some i wish the new guys coulda "met."

I wonder what happened to that boy that was always picked on by his sister?He was into old cars and I think he finally got a '57 chevy. Haven't seen him in a long time.
