Agree. Sometimes might not of agreed with some and totally agreed with others but usually you knew where you stood with them.

Course it helps to wear full armour.

A lot of good memories and at times really funny posts as well.

 

He was a very critical one wasn't he? But he and Dilly kept things lively around here.

yeah, hhb was a good one. dilli just didn't take any shit. but hhb sobered up and stopped being mean. after that, what's the point of random thoughts?

 

They both were straight shooters, said what they thought and I liked them. I do miss them posting as they brought balance to many posts.

I was not here when they stopped posting often so have no idea, just know I did enjoy them.

They were/are admirable in that they were pretty much self sufficient and their homestead was very nice.

Ok, I am guilty of that also. No offense was meant.

If I did not like who posts here I would not be here. I do though have fond memories of many who did. There were as are now many colourful people and connections over time made with them.

I did not post to you before as you joined while I was on sabbatical from just about everything but I would now and enjoy it, same with many who are here now that were not here when I was before.

The board constantly changes and all have a place in memory.

Sorry that you are offended. Think about this though in a year if you left and I posted gee I miss posting to you would you be as offended.

 

No,it's not any worse or any better,IB. There're plenty of good new ones here now ,including you. Just reminiscing about some of the ones that were lively or controversial. I've been coming here since 98 or 99,so I've seen many come and go.
