Hey peeps! We are looking to start a series of contests on Hip Forums to generate more interest and participation from our members. We are soliciting contests and prizes from our vendors. Don't know what the response will be. But if anyone has a good idea for a contest, let's hear it! It should be easy to enter so all members can participate. It can be anything from photo contests, or creative writing, or best suggestion to improve the site, etc. Our vendors might come up with some ideas of their own. This should be interesting because such contests are very popular on other sites. The prizes can be nice too!
I know ither sites prizes can be things like a years subscription for free to the site or things like that. You can do a shifty and make paid features that awesome that they'll just have to renew the next year. :d
Dick pics with rulers /jk um, I would say poetry or something, or maybe for the talented folks here, they could write, record, and submit songs... I would but I'm not talented enough yet. Maybe something to do with crafts, useful nick-knacks and dohickies and things like that, and then you have everyone vote on their favorite... although that could pose a problem depending on how many people submit stuff/pictures of whatever they've made. Or maybe something real simple, like most inventive username
I would also love to do a creative writing contest also! I would be cool with just the honor but a sponsor prize would be cool too
a photo contest would be cool. like best picture of _____ the winner could be determined by the number of likes it gets after a specified period of time.
