i do not believe that age matters. this is one of the few on-line forums where a true cross section of ages are represented. i feel everyone has something to contribute and most of the posters do off their own spin on an issue.

Hell no AGE doesn't matter. Being hippy is a frame of heart. Not how many calendars you've thrown away.
We learn from each other here.

:agree: If we didn't have the older hippies here, who would guide the younger ones in our various loving paths?

A.B.E, I hope you know you're great! I love reading your posts, I feel like you have a beautiful spirit! :daisy:

For me, age is a determining factor of nothing but how many days one has been alive. Personality, maturity, and everything else has absolutely nothing to do with age, in most cases.

age shouldn't be an issue, but it seems to be in many forums on here

many posters discredit another poster due to their age or the number of posts they have, which is pretty sad, and one reason i don't have my age posted.

i do think that alot of the younger ones are the ones that are creating the stupid, pointless threads, they're just trying to get their post counts up. but there are some younger posters on here that truely have something to say, but people think that their opinion isn't valid due to their age. true older posters generally have more experience in alot of different fields, but that doesn't mean that they're any better.

it's one reason that i don't post much lately, everythings turns into an argument

I posted my age because I guess I am proud to be 55, and still feel like a free spirit, young at heart, and still a Hippie. It wasn't just a trend or phase, and my lifestyle and hip choices still reflects attitudes I had when I was 15. I totally can relate to all the youthful posts, young people trying to find their "alternative way" in the very unhip frenzied mainstream world at large.

The only forum where I met with some ridicule and minor cruelty for being older was on Love and Sex, where I made the naive mistake of joining in a discussion about sex, and a young egotistical male of little brain mocked me, insinuating that a woman in her 50's couldn't possibly be having "hot sex". Whatever, dude! ? I don't go there anymore unless its to talk about True Love (30 years, same partner), or Relationships.

I really enjoy reading everyones posts, no matter what age, and I do like people who include their chronological ages. I guess even if people post an age , it might not be the correct one, so what does it really matter, huh?

We are just one big happy family !
Thanks for all the feedback ! Peace and Love :sunny:
