I saw short fragments of the vice presidential debates. Tim Kaine neutered himself by insisting he was gonna be Hillary's "right hand person" rather than right hand man in the name of political correctness

Mr. Kaine, your testicles, hand them over please. You are fired from manhood.

She just really comes across as someone without any real convictions.

  4. There really should be mass protests going on against this election even occurring. Don't know what good it would do, but it really is an outrage that we are being subjected to this. At least as outrageous as any pipeline or police brutality.

I can't stand either Hillary or Donald but for the pragmatism's sake I would prefer Hillary to win the White House. She is a Washington insider, knows all the big 'swinging dicks', knows what levers to pull to get things done and, I feel (but certainly don't know), the next four years would be slightly less scandal-ridden were she to win. Donald, on the other hand, is a loose cannon. A person just can't ad lib his way through the presidency like he's done with his campaign. This situation developing with Russia is just one example of how dangerous things are becoming, although it's not getting much attention right now. It would be one damn thing after another with Trump in office.

Having said that I don't plan on voting for either of these two clowns. I don't live in a swing state anyway so it wouldn't make any difference.

  12. No, it's not the best of the Podesta emails. Have you read them? No? Then shut up.

Just one of several things that has come out from WikiLeaks recently, but I'm sure no one cares because it doesn't matter to you, right? Doesn't matter to you that the Clinton campaign has been bolstering Donald Trump all along. It certainly matters to the Clinton campaign though, as per the media's well-timed release of Trump's abysmal tapes.

    Yes a complete lie.
Really as of Sept. 2015 10.4% didn't have coverage. That means only 89.6% were covered. How dare she round that figure up to 90% like they taught us in math class.

    And who isn't covered?
4 million illegal immigrants who are barred form participating.
600,000 non qualifying immigrates due to being in the country less than five years.
4 million who fall into the Medicare Gap and are excluded from coverage because the state they reside in choose not to expand Medicare as allowed by the ACA.
And let's not forget the 7.7 million invincible young who choose to not get any insurance at all.
Another 7 million of varied age making under $50,000 a year, who also choose to opt for no coverage even though they may have qualified for some sort of assistance.
Those 3 million making from $50,000 to $75,000 who choose not to participate.
And finally those making over $75,000 who are also invincible.

I really dont think Republicans would have allowed better than the Affordable Health Care Act at the time,, so I'm not blaming Obama and Hillary for this...

But I think saying 90% of people are covered glosses over glaring problems that still exist in health care...

Many employers are moving towards high deducibles, and most public option plans are also high deductible plans

Which basically offers catastrophic coverage, and will prevent financial ruin in the case of life threatening illness, but still keeps healthcare out of reach for many. Because if you live paycheck to paycheck and have a $4000 deductible are you really going to go to the doctor when you're sick, knowing you'll be responsible for 100% of the bill?

And i know a guy who uses the public option. But every plan he's chosen ends up pulling out of the marketplace in this state, leaving him without coverage until he can find another plan.

There are still too many people who slip through the cracks and dont qualify for subsidies and cant afford the premiums. And i know a big problem here is that a lot of states opted out of the Medicaid expansion, my state included...but it is still a problem.

And America continues to have the most expensive healthcare in the world.

I cant take Hillary's stance on healthcare seriously when she continues to gloss over the issue. She needs to address it.

I guess i should say - Maybe she did address it, i didnt watch the debate. In the Democratic debates during the primaries she didnt address it. Sanders was the only one with the balls to say the system is still broken.

Is she calling the party sexist or 'just' their presidential candidate? If its the latter why does it matter? It wasn't a secret or something

Yes because hyping up victim and grievance culture has worked so well for the left and they'll continue to do so.

    Everything is sexist
    Everything is racist
    All white people are bigots

    Etc
