MSN Intel developed this AI chip years ago, and it uses so little power you could put it on a thumb drive, but has updated it to simulate the human brain. It actually uses electricity to simulate synaptic potentials and, because of its design, it can emulate anything, any AI circuitry you want. Even the article suggested they're not seriously attempting to slap enough of them together to simulate an entire brain, but they want the math for the pattern matching that applies to 100 million neurons. Basically, the want the math to emulate how your brain works well enough for robots or whatever. One of these chips could easily be used in solar powered drones, that fly overhead all day.
