    Hello,

they predicted a thunder storm and heavy rain in my area for the next few hours. At the moment the sky is mostly blue. Should I go for a hike now and risk getting wet or getting my arse fried by lightning or should I stay at home and stare at RT?

    Regards
    Gyro

Go outside and sense the atmosphere like a bird.

    Hello,

I really like to go ;). It's 28C outside, it's even warmer in my flat. I think I wait a little bit until it's 6PM and then have a look at the rain radar and decide what to do.

The problem is that there are no huts or caves on my way, so if the thunder storm starts I can't shelter.

    Regards
    Gyro

    Hello,

if I go and then the rain starts midway I will curse myself for being so stupid. If I stay and nothing happens I will curse myself for being such a chicken ;).

    Regards

    please stay safe.

you should be aware, however, that piaf will get totally turned on if you go out and hike fearlessly

    Helloho,

    I'm bahack ;).

Thanks, I needed it. It was horrible, lightning everywhere and rain and storm enough, to bring down the pines. But I remained courageous and survived. Na, just kidding. No thunder storm at all, it's still hot and muggy. I heard thunder rolling in the distance, but not near enough to bother me.

I have no car, so I have to build my Faraday cage from a poncho and hope that the lightning doesn't know that a poncho is just a piece of plastic ;).

Well, Piaf likes manly men and after running around in this weather I at least smell very manly ;). But it was fun and relaxing in the woods. Not as much blackberries as I thought, but I had my share.

    Regards
    Gyro
