Salam Aliekum brothers may Allah bless and keep you in good health.

Being a revert, I have trouble memorizing the Qu'ran in arabic so usually I will highlite an Ayat I want to learn then go to a transliteration site and learn it. Do you think highliting the Qu'ran is haram? I only highlite the english part (tasbith?) so would that not count as highliting the Qu'ran but just highliting translation? BTW the Ayat im looking for goes something like "They try to deceive Allah, but verily Allah deceives them". I thought that was in the Hypocrites but I was wrong. There is another pretty similiar that says ,"They were plotting a plot against you but Allah was plotting as well and verily Allah is the best of plotters." any idea on what surahs these are in? Thanx and Salamz

I think there is no problem at all! I will ask a Sheikh .
Give me the # of the chapters and verses
