So what's the highest elevation above sea level in the state, county, province, country or whatever where you live? In Kentucky it's Black Mountain. [IMG]

The Wrekin, Shropshire. At 407 metres, not that high, but it stands out as it's on the edge of a very flat area known as the North Shropshire Plain. It is an extinct volcano.

For Connecticut, it's the southern slope of Mount Frissell in Salisbury, on the Massachusetts border. The Connecticut elevation is 2,454 feet ASL.

Sorry that I don't have my own picture of it, as I've never been in the town of Salisbury.

Highest point in my county? I think it's 28 feet, unless you count highway overpasses.

^ 3 hours and 24 minutes according to google maps.

i'm way up in the corner, so probably about as far as i could possibly get from you without leaving the state.

edit: although, that probably equates to about 2 hours 45 minutes at my normal driving speed...
