Hello. Just found this site as I was googling around for a place where like minded folk might gather. I'm Ptchfork, 39, from NYC, I'd really like to make some friends that I can chat with. I love music, the Grateful Dead being the building block of everything, but I'm hugely into Max Creek. I'm a photographer, shooting some weddings, but mostly music. Any questions?
Max Creek is AWESOME!!! I saw them... almost a year ago now, small outdoor "festival". Still managed to draw a huge crowd. Small venue - and man, it was freezing out! They played for at least two hours - they did a very dead-esq version of Not Fade Away that had a Led Zeppelin song right in the middle of the jam. They just stuck Dazed and Confused right in there. I don't know many others who could pull that off and make it sound nearly as awesome... they're great!
