Hello, my name is Sheli (pronounced "Shelly") but I spell it weird. Not surprising really. "Normal" isn't my category. I'm not sure what is.

So, I googled "rune casting forum" and found this site. Purple is my favorite color

Growing up, my father was agnostic and my mom was a non- practicing catholic. I went to many different types of christian churches throughout my life. And now, at almost 53, I'm exploring other spiritual path a such as paganism and Wicca and whatever else seems to come my way. I am gravitating toward runes as a medium of communication and want to know more. I'm looking forward to being here and sharing ideas and experiences with others here.

I use runes as a form of divination the same as Tarot cards.
As in a tarot deck there are Major Arcana cards in The runes I have a number of them are the same.
My runes are Nordic Runes.

Thank you everyone! So far, my experience has been positive. I've made my own rune set and a few for other people.

When I was going to Christian churches, I developed gifts that are extending into what I'm learning now. I seem to 'know' things and there are times that I have movies or pictures in my head that some would call visions that end up bringing insight into situations and help others, and myself, along the path that they're on. One way you I'm doing this is through stones - not only runes but wire wrapping stones and that end up being a special message to the person I'm wrapping the stone for. Whole I'm wrapping, my 'knowing' kicks in and the process becomes a wonderful time of growth for both the person I'm wrapping the stone for and myself. I'm looking forward to doing more. There is a pagan fair/festival in my area in the fall and I'm gearing up to have a booth there. Very exciting

I seem to be gravitating toward the Norse Gods Freya and Odin and am researching aspects of that culture.

There is so much to learn, so much to explore! This will be a long but good journey.
