Thank's.I like the English language, and I'm self-taught mostly. School is ages away.

 

In 2010 I took my now wife to Germany with me to show her where I grew up and we were in Dresden and we met a married couple maybe in their 50s or 60s and they were from East Germany. My wife can only speak English. They said hallo to us and I asked if they happen to speak English for my wife. Well that had no spoken English since school ever and you would not have guessed but they were still perfect and even memorised at themselves that they could still understand it and speak it without a second thought.

 

Yes! We were in Germany too at the wedding in 2017 Munich, my English saved us. Almost every German knows English. I can't say so for Russia.

Sorry comrade, my laptop doesn't allow me to respond properly in Russian. Have spent a a little time in Siberia though (no, not in the gulags or salt mines ) was part of an admin support worker for a team of consulting engineers on the gas pipe-line some 36 years ago.

 

It's all right. It was the Soviet Union then. And all the money from oil and gas came to benefit of the whole country in the USSR. Now we have quite something different here.

 

As you see from my avatar, I'm very much on the extreme political 'left' we'll see a return of the CCCP yet !!!

 

We can but hope - they would sort out those bastard 'nasty party' scumbags !!!
