I met several folks from here many years ago. Some were spot on and exactly as their online persona. Some ended up being strange and had other irl HF gals warn me about his pattern of stalking after meeting up. Thankful Leprcon and I were pretty much our hf persona or at least what we expected. 12 months after our first phone call, I moved cross country and 3 months after that we were married. Looking back, I wonder why no one in my family or friends said the warp speed of that relationship was reckless. But I think I hit the forum dating jackpot 12 years later.
No suprise here! You don't come across as overly serious on here either (to me at least). Same like me basically. I can be corny all day and still switch to a serious topic when it comes up (can't most forummers? ).
Awww ash this made me so happy, thank you! I think your online persona is very close to your real life personality as well. Very bubbly and outgoing and tons of fun. Honestly I feel like most people on here are probably quite similar IRL to how they seem. I think obviously we all censor ourselves a bit less here, but other than that I do feel like I'm getting a bit of the essence of the people here while I talk to them. Perhaps we are getting a truer side of someone when they don't edit their thoughts for the general public.
there is a fur con in vegas once a year, its called elliots. i'm sure there are lots of other kinds of partying conventions too. not a town that interests me. the times i've been there, granted its been several decades, but south is generally not a direction i'm interested in heading for anything. conventions exist for just about anything people have in common. i'm not too sure what it is that any of us on here are supposed to have in common with each other, besides the thing of being on here. i suppose there is a majority who are interested in mind altering substances. this kind of counts me out. i'm not really. i am interested in how we make the world we live in the way we experience it. and places on line to share our individual and widely diversant thoughts on that. which is why i'm here. almost as far north of lost vegtables, as san frantastic is north of lost angels, is the biggest little city of reno, where i happen to live.
I suspect you're all furries. You know... weird people who like to drass like daffy duck before they fuck. But otherwise good folks.
depends on how you define "forumers." if it's just anyone that posts on a forum, a vast majority of forumers on this site can never switch to any topic other than poorly spelled begging for sex.
Most people on this forum seem to get along and enjoy talking to each other. I don't see why that would be any different in person, whether we all have something in common or not. I actually understand when people say that they don't want to meet internet people for safety reasons, but "we have nothing in common" seems like a cop out to me.
Maybe a higher amount of drug USERS. Whether or not they abuse their drug of choice would not be any of my business. Same with any mental disorders they'd be dealing with and hopefully getting treatment for.
i don't see where that comes from what i said. don't see where that even relates to the context of anything i said. i sure don't disagree with what you're saying. but i sure don't see any remotest relationship between the two.
i've met 3 or 4 HFers over the years....pressed rat included. i think they come off more or less the same as they do online. but when people post pictures of themselves for the first time, i am most always surprised at what they look like - usually not what i had pictured in my mind. my meeting with pressed rat was pretty short, but i would say he (...you) was pretty much as i perceived him online. i would be interested in what you thought about me as far as matching up to my online persona.
I must have gotten a bit confused by your othe post. I have heard other people on these forums say this like that though, and thought you were just adding more of the same. Sorry!
