antithesis, looking at your cute little sleeping kitty in your sig.. I can't help but wonder how many seconds it would have to live if my dog saw it. my guess is 7 another stray cat came into the backyard the other day.. my weimaraner starting pointing, and the american pit took off toward it. fucker was literally 5 ft from the gate. it ran toward the gate, then ran back toward the yard, then stopped and hesitated for half a second.. then bam, my dog took it down and they tumbled like a fucking lion on a gazelle. he stood up, cat in mouth, shook it once, threw it up in the air, and it landed dead on the ground. he moved earth in his track to get to the cat.. deep paw prints. I buried it and gave it a respectable grave and funeral. and that's my prey story of the week.
Not really possible in the USA. We don't have very many female doctors. A lot of doctors go out with hot nurses here.
i dont' think it's snobby at all. it makes perfect sense to me. the personality traits that leads to a carreer as a doctor, the time, the effort, the required intelligence and talent, the disappointments, the failures, the successes. these seem to be the sorts of powerful experiences that can't really ever be understood by anyone but a kindred spirit.
possibly. they have a much more cohesive community than other professions. when I become a lawyer, I will sure as hell never marry one.
there was a super hot doctor chick that worked with my mother in law who wanted to hook up with dave. i had to go to her for my post-c-section staple removal. she seemed pretty smug to me.
that's a normal prey drive in dogs. most dogs have it, especially terriers. I have a bloodline with a high level of gameness and drive. it also doesn't help that my girlfriend's cat tormented him when he was a pup. I caught her, more than once, sticking her paws in his cage and slicing him. he still has scars all over his nose. so now? he sees a cat and kills it. and I'm not saving some disease ridden feral cat from him. I saved a cat from a dog once, and still have the scars where it sliced my hand in 4 different places. if you like your cats, don't let them wander the fucking neighborhood.
oh whatever, it still got away from you and killed a freaking pet. still bad dog behavior. my dog has two cats in the house that beat his ass as a pup and has never harmed anything because he was trained not to. my old pit never hurt another animal in her life.
same i have two rottweilers and a pitbull, all of them were beat up by my cats ha... but they dont attack other animals, or the cats.... the cats even sit outside in the back garden with them and they wont do a thing!
my dog leaves animals alone but he attacks the earth with a fury. he tears down little trees, eats grass, chews on mud.... its kinda strange, really.
my old dog, trusty, LOVED birds. there was a bird nest in the wall next to her dog run where she'd just lay down and hang out with the birds. the little baby birds would walk all over her and the mama bird would sit there all comfie. she'd bark at the cats to go away and pretty much just enjoyed life. such a good girl. my mom really had her trained, though. my mom's better than that dog whisperer guy.
that's common with pits. but he can probably sense that I don't like cats. I also live in a neighborhood that is overrun by feral cats. these are not 'pets'. these are pests that decimate the local ecosystem. he is doing the world a favor. I would not tolerate dog aggression. but if there is a cat in the backyard, it's fair game. just like the squirrels, snakes, and whatever else can be out there. additionally, he didn't 'get away' from me. he was out back and already loose. and like I said, I'm not saving any cat that comes in my backyard. if you value your cat, keep it on your own property.
i really miss that ol' baby. we called her trusty because my dad bought her outside toys r' us on christmas eve. she and my little sis were inseperable and equally precious.
oh. you've trained it to eat cats. well, actually, that's less scary. he's being as good as can be expected, i suppose.
See, when you put it that way it makes perfect sense. When I broke my hand there were three young and really hot doctors adjusting my bones. And a stupid slutty nurse Anyways, it was so awesome. They were joking and laughing a lot. One even said that we should be colleagues once I graduate And I all I kept thinking was: Damn, I wish I could fix someone's hand like that. Medicine is so fun. I both love it and hate it.
