why would i need a 72 hour hold when i havent done anything in three or four days? Plus I already told him I'm gonna compromise and do outpatient and he was like "okay"--- he just wanted me to do SOMETHING, even though he'd rather I went to rehab too....he knows it's better then nothing.

 

no ive felt like i was dying one too many times to care about fun anymore.

go to inpatient now. 2 or three days is not being clean and sober. You have slipped back to much. have him check you in. That's all I have to say about your drug use anymore. It hurts me to see you this way and I can't have even an internet friendship with you right now.

I was strung out on benzos for years. I haven't touched one since May of 2002. It took a long time to get off of that. And your mind is going to try to bullshit you into any excuse to use again. You will be amazed at the logic that you will come up with. To this day, I don't know that I could turn it down if I saw it in front of me. I want it every fucking day. In order to get clean, you need to want to get clean. I don't want to see you suffer, or OD, or anything like that. But I know how big that shit can be. It's like trying to kick an elephants ass.

I hope you can get help. There's really nothing that anyone on this forum including me can say that will bring you comfort. You have a journey ahead of you. Like the song says "That path is for your steps alone".

You need to know that you have an uphill ride ahead of you. It's going to be hard. But the haze is going to lift. You will feel better in time. You'll have some rough moments, but you will have a support system. Use it.

i have replied to a couple of your threads before. it feels strange because i don't want to give advice and i don't know you for the short story read my post in surviours of suicide i went to rehab for a year yes, it is boring as fuck because there is no chaos to enjoy i had to listen to others stories and wanted to scream

please stop playing the blame game and get off the merry go round another poster wrote about the enviroment. you need to rid yourself of the culture surrounding yourself of drinking and drugs

you ask what you would learn in rehab...you learn to replace the highs of drugs with other stuff, you learn to have fun, find ways of teaching yourself to accept yourself and others

you don't sound ready for rehab, you sound really good at telling people what you think they want too hear

 

thanks mike. and yeah that's why i am doing that outpatient stuck, which involves a lot of one on one counseling too.

and seamonster seems to be the only one with any sense. if i didnt wanna get dope sick so bad.... hahahaha.... you people are not so smart.

 

We aren't smart? Right cause we were doing Herion for 3-4 days in a row.
