Just introducing myself to everyone. I've lurked around these forums off and on for a few months and have enjoyed the vibe of the forums, so I finally decided to join. It'll be nice to have conversations with people who are open minded, opinionated, and intelligent....there's not a lot of that where I live!

Thanks Simon! Its the pits, ain't it? I've spent a few years dumbing down my conversations just so I can talk to people here. How lame is that? lol Southern living just isn't in line with who I am at my deepest level, which is why I can't wait to move. It'll always be home, but I'm at a different point in my life now where this just isn't the bee knees anymore. The history of acceptance isn't on the South's side, especially for a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural gal like myself.
Yeah i can understand you, mi town make be become crazy, since a long time i have to keep all my idea and tought inside of me sometime i just want to take the road, and go anywere i can, as far as possible from my town, even in that situation i try to see good benefit in all thing i try to stay positif
