So I was watching Jeopardy, and apparently according to one question Herpes is linked to causing cervical cancer? Can anybody shed light on information about this? I know HPV virus is strongly linked and proven to cause cervical cancer, but herpes? Herpes is like everywhere and like at times I feel 70% of the developed world's human beings have it. I do not know if the Jeopardy question was referring to Simplex 1 or Simplex 2, so for this post, consider this a two tiered question one asking the question with the context of Herpes Simplex 1, and the other Herpes Simplex 2.
