Kyle Rittenhouse is a self-proclaimed member of the militia. His lawyer even stated the fact that he identifies as a minuteman, referring of course to the patriot forces
that fought the British at Lexington and Concord in Massachusetts in 1775.

Keep in mind WHY a cop becomes a cop. They are often angry with society and want to "make a difference" with things they don't like. It's easy for me to see how this attracts racists. Criminal justice is the only field where this kind of attitude is still allowed. They cling to junk science and personal basis. You can't do that working at Starbucks.

Black men will continue to be killed and they will continue to be blamed for it. Just submit as if it was Jim Crow and there will no problems.

Of course, that could only mean that Black people commit much more crime, right?

What they found is the criminal justice system is unequal on every level. Cops in the state are more likely to stop Black drivers. Police are more likely to search or investigate Black residents. Law enforcement agents charge Black suspects with infractions that carry worse penalties. Prosecutors are less likely to offer Black suspects plea bargains or pre-trial intervention. Judges sentence Black defendants to longer terms in prison. And get this: The average white felon in the Massachusetts Department of Corrections has committed a more severe crime than the average Black inmate.

 

As an African American male who lives in Massachusetts I can confirm, the conclusions they reached in the Harvard study.

Investigators in Los Angeles have charged a man with the attempted murder of two police officers who were shot as they sat in their patrol car.

Deonte Lee Murray, 36, was already in custody for unrelated carjacking charges, prosecutors said.

Galveston, Texas — A Black man who was led by a rope by two white officers on horseback has sued a southeast Texas city and its police department for $1 million, saying he suffered humiliation and fear during his arrest. A lawsuit filed last week in Galveston County district court on behalf of Donald Neely, 44, alleged the officers' conduct was "extreme and outrageous" and injured Neely and caused him emotional distress, news outlets reported, citing the court documents.

Photos of the August 2019 encounter showed Neely being led by the officers on a rope linked to handcuffs - reminiscent of pictures showing slaves in chains.
