Help With Office 365 Please!

I just bought Office 365 and wish to save my own files locally on my own laptop. Every time I try it they go to the cloud. I also want save and move a file from a CD to my laptop...meaning not to the cloud. Microsoft's customer service in India does not understand what I need to do. Anyone on HF familiar with 365?

If you go to File>Options>Save and check the check box for Save to Computer by default and specify a default local file location, then when you use File>SaveAs that file location will be the one into which the document will be saved.

It is also a good idea to check the box for "Don't show the Backstage when opening or saving files"

Also, if you add the Save command to the QAT or use CTRL+s. you will be taken straight to the Windows Explorer type SaveAs dialog.
