help with condoms...

My friend told me that we'd use a condom when we do it, but since reading all the stuff that can happen, I think I'll refrain from even doing it. I'll just get close to it and then stop. I'm 16 and I don't want to get pregnant and have to tell my parents that my friend and I had sex and they didn't know about it and then have them mad at me for the rest of my life....
