Well, fuck me if that wasn't enough. More than enough, in fact. I guess that was some pretty high-yield stuff, after all. The next two hours or so were an experience like none I've ever had before. It was distinctly worrying at points, so I'm glad we didn't use it all (plus it means we have enough in reserve to do it again, with the same doseage). Not so much hallucinations as altered perception, especially temporally. For a while, only what I was looking directly at would continue existing. Eveything around it would just "stop". If people stopped talking to me, I'd come "adrift" in time for what seemed like hours, but which was actually only about 30 seconds or so. Also, when asked why I'd said I couldn't pick up the remote and change the channel, I apparently responded "because it's like a thousand kilometres away". It was sitting on the floor right next to my ass. I can distinctly remember groping around for it dumbly like it was at the bottom of a well, and my arm was somehow long enough to reach it when I tried, though it didn't seem it would be. It was weird snapping in and out of short periods of semi-lucidity before beaing helplessly carried off again. Weirder still were the times when you thought you were becoming more lucid, until you sat back and tried to objectively look at what you were thinking and realised how batshit insane it was. I spent most of the time keeping my mouth shut, because every time I wanted to express something I thought or was feeling, I couldn't put it into words that made any sense even to me. I just plain gave up, knowing it was pointless to try. I also remember getting hungry and being too embarrassed to mention it because getting "the munchies" while high is such a fucking cliché. Finally my brother snapped and declared his hunger, and while we were both terrified of going out in public as by now were completely incapale of acting any semblance of normal, we also didn't have the sound judgement left to actually stay fucking home.

I must say, that so perfectly and intelligently described the feelings I get when high. The syntax you used when describing the "lucidity" of everything left me dumbfounded, as I could never describe it myself. Simply a great explanation. Congrats on your successful journey!
