Help identifying mystery Prog/Space Rock track!!!

Sorry for posting this thread twice, but I think I may have posted it in the wrong section before, so felt the need to post it here.

Anyway...

I am currently on a mission to find out the name of this track and who it is by. It is a great sounding spacey track that my Dad has had in his tape collection for years. He has been trying to find out more about it for decades and we're both pretty desperate now because its such a great track. If anyone can identify it for me, I shall be incredibly thankful!

Wish I could help you but although the sound is even a bit familiar I can't figure out which band it is!

 

I know, same genera and all but there's something about the guitar runs, phrasing, scales, etc. that is very similar to this.

Bass playing is similar too and this is all one guy. He used to play with Datura also, maybe check some of their stuff.
