Help Ive never been big into music, and was looking for some good music. I like greenday, 311, sublime, marley. Im looking for soft rock perphaps, I dont know much about genres.
Soft rock? There are groups like Chicago, Boston, Journey, and lately I have dug out some tunes from Tommy James & The Shondells. Some of my favorite tunes from Tommy James are, Crimson & Clover(the long version), Sweet Cherry Wine, Ball Of Fire, Crystal Blue Persuasion, and Mirage. Back in 1968-69-70 Tommy James & The Shondells were as popular as the Beatles, but now I can't even find them at most record stores. I had to go to his website to get his CD's.
Coldplay. I don't see them as being in the same category of music you have listed there, but they are great. And probably as soft as your going to find.
I enjoy most of the bands u listed too. My suggestion for ya is to check out Ben Harper (benharper.net/). He's mostly mello- good chill music. I love the music and lyrics to "Burn One Down" and he does a great cover of Strawberry Fields Forever. They're a talented group!
