Hi all, I'm new to this part of the forum and I know very little about cannabis/hash or whatever else it's called. I'm told that it can help with pain relief? Is this true? Is it only certain types of pain.? My wife suffers with really bad fibromyalgia and is in constant pain. Can this stuff help? If so how do you use it. She wouldn't smoke it as she's never smoked anything in her life. How would I go about acquiring this stuff? I've seen lads with small pieces of a hard brown stuff, is this hash? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
It helps but what would be your definition of "relief"? It's not going to make Fibromyalgia go away or the pain go away. Can't help you with finding any and this forum is not the place to ask for that.
you may want to check out the book "Curing Fibromyalgia Naturally with Chinese Medicine" by Bob Flaws Medical mj may have some positive effects for pain, but may not be worth the hassle and expense in places where it is not legal. I would get the advice of a doctor concerning any kind of medical treatment.
Medical MJ can do lots and even IMO maybe repair some issues. There are different strains, some that have less THC and more of what kills the pain. If there is a medical MJ grower near you you can get your doc to approve it as a pain med and ask the growers or suppliers what works best for your type of pain. Yes the hard brown stuff is hash, you smoke that too but a supplier might be able to offer an oil instead, or she could bake it in stuff and take it in orally, some get queasy over that in the gut but it might work better in smaller amounts for her if she is not a seasoned user.
Thanks folks, we've tried everything from GP prescribed painkillers to specialist treatment... We are running out of conventional options. All I'm looking for here is info and advice having never used anything like this before, so I'm asking for your info and point if view on this. Don't want to offend or get anybody into trouble. Thanks again guy n gals
What are the edible options, what's vaping? Sorry I know I sound like a total novice.... Guess I am!!
Edibles... Like pot brownies. There are other ways of cooking it that activate the functional chemicals but just looking up pot brownies will get you on the right path.
You can take a look at the book here: http://books.google.com/books?id=wUXbxpBMoGIC&printsec=frontcover#v=onepage&q&f=false
