I know it was really nice, had a good atmosphere and i love old citys like that. and yes we certainly did visit the gate, we went pretty much everywhere i think, although i will be going back to double check. do you go there much power? also thank you peace phoenix for the welcome, i think i am going to like it here very much. you all seem great.
Last time I went was about a year ago. I'll probably end up back there at some point. I just realised it's been about five years since I went to Scarborough.
currently the blissfully beautiful state of colorado. i was born in florida, raised mostly in southern california, and spent the last 10 years in new mexico. southern california is the only regrettable portion of my life.
quick, get on a train there now! scarborough is lovely. i went there about a month ago......robin hoods bay is nice to though! i'm keen on doing the coast to coast walk! we should all do it together, hipforums team building 2 weeks!
Oh yay! You're from Yorkshire too!!! Welcome! Twas sunny up norf today huh? Yayayaya! Much love Claire xxxxx
hi Claire. where in yorkshire are you from? it has been nice and sunny today, its bloody cold up in this neck of the woods though!
i'd like too see ur pictures. talking my dad, he prefers chester to york so it mist be lovely. i need to meet these friendly yorkshire folk, im obviously in the wrong locale!!
I've never been to York myself, but I can vouch for Chester, it's a beautiful city, unfortunately I don't have any pics of it. I do have plenty of pics from Mid-cheshire though. Oh, I found the local pubs were a bit strange actually, really nice with log fires and piano's and things, but I felt that those old fellas wanted to keep it sacred, they didn't want long haired skateboarders milling around the place like they owned it. If you want the bacon butty you're much better off strolling into someones house looking hungry like I did.
ooo theres guidelines to this.... and there i was just about to wonder in to the old dear next doors house looking forlorn and hungry.
Oh no, forlorn is too far, it's a good word though and should be used at any given opportunity ..........tell you what, if you ever pop down to Cheshire I'd be glad to make you a bacon butty.
