Hi all. It seems that everyime I search for something on Google that one of the results I get is for this forum, so thought I may as well sign up and get involved.
Thanks for the warm welcome. Im a huge Lego fan, mainly of the Star Wars variety, but that's only because I have tonlimit myself due to money and space to keep it (it's rather addictive). If you're going to buy a set though, I would definately recommend The Beatles Yellow Submarine.
"Hail and Welcome" - from the North - You can't beat a little bit of BeaTles fun = Yellow Submarine looks cool
90s legs was the shit. I had a full castle with a drawbridge and all. Pirate ships were amazing. Now everything is already made for you save a few pieces. And it's all this gay ass Star Wars shit. :toetap05: if they re-made those old medieval and pirate Lego again, I'd definitely buy.
You use the word gay as if it's a bad thing. You'd be surprised how wrong you are about it being mostly pre made. I felt the same as I was a childhood fan and until I got back into in the last couple of years I thought that most of it is already built. But I was pleasently wrong.
I'm gay so I have special rights to use that word any way I see fit. When I was with Lego if I wanted to build a car then it was brick by brick. Today, you just slap on a couple of wheels. Even when you look at the shapes of the Star Wars vehicles, traditional Lego isn't shaped for it. So it's all pre moulded. For a joke a few years ago a friend bought me a formula 1 car Lego. All I need was attach the wings and the tires which were already moulded. Now my castle on the other hand was all build brick by brick. And I remember my mums foots went through it and I could never fix it.
