I know you'll have a lot of free time during the easter break and i know you'll come on here and spy on me. So enjoy yourself dear PS- Florence is my little sister ...
Florence, Florentia... Firenze. I've always sorta liked that name. Flourishing. Of the 1000 most prominent or influential artists of the last millenium, nearly 400 lived or worked in Florance (Tusc(i)a/ny), Italy at some point... and it was the home of the Renaissance, so I really don't think naming of the city wasn't a coincidence. Athens of the middle ages... It's almost a spiritual or biblical feeling I get. t's just that there's also the dark, dirty feeling about it.. in that it was established in the few decades leading to the birth of Christ, the plague, and the pollution today. Strangely enough, I know a jeweler in my town, descended from the Medici family, the... historically, ruling family, of Florence. It's just one of those places I've always wanted to see. Dark, flailing, graceful at the same time.
vous ne pouver pas croire les francaises. croire, is that even right? i haven't spoken french in ages. *aiming for trust.
I'm going to Florence this summer. I'm so excited. Tell your sister I'm so excited to be going to her namesake. Given, of course, that it is her namesake...

Hey, just because you can't translate doesn't mean it isn't there, but it'll never be the same, either.
